Bobby
Jones, ever the subject of controversy with his boyish looks,
devilish temper and unsurpassed talent, once called Crestwood his
home. The subject of the film “Bobby Jones: Stroke of Genius”
released in 2004, Jones lived at
370
Hollywood Avenue
in the 1930s. A true legend of sport, Bobby Jones won thirteen major
championships between 1923 and 1930, and remains the only player
ever to win all four majors in the same year-all before retiring
from competitive golf at age 28(!).
