Hothorn House (c. 1931) - 370 Crestwood Avenue
Former home of Ernest Hothorn,
Sr, Gentleman farmer and builder who bought a large parcel of land
bounded by Scarsdale Road to the Bronx River, from St. Eleanora’s
Lane to just past Juana Street. His plan was to build luxury homes
for the elite: Hothorn
Acres.
